Headquartered in Blairstown NJ, James Alexander Corporation is a leading manufacturer, custom filler and contract packager of single-use crushable glass and plastic ampoules. It was founded in 1976 by Francesca Fazzolari and Alex Davidson and remains a privately-held company with more than 45 years of service to its customers. In a testament to the company’s outstanding reputation for service, some of their current customers have been with James Alexander since the very beginning.
COMMITTED LEADERSHIP
Leading the team is Dave Robinson, President of James Alexander Corp. Dave has been an integral part of the company for over 35 years and, under his leadership, James Alexander is now working on their second expansion due to the company’s upward growth trajectory. The expansion will provide additional capacity for servicing the company’s key markets, including pharmaceutical (OTC and Rx), medical devices, health & beauty, first aid and diagnostics.
James Alexander has an engineering staff lead by Richard May, Director of Engineering, who has been with the company for over 35 years. His expert team custom designs and builds all the manufacturing machinery necessary to produce the company’s innovative single-use packages. In addition, Rich also designed and patented our revolutionary plastic ampoule.
In 2011 James Alexander Corp became an ESOP, (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). Company founder and present-day Chairwoman, Francesca Fazzolari felt it was very important to her personally to reward her dedicated employees, many of whom have been with the company for over two decades. At the company announcement Francesca quoted Alice Paul “Each of us puts in one little stone, and then you get a great mosaic in the end.”
